Why watch this film?

A thrilling action movie inspired by exploitation films of yesteryear and a premise that seems tempting for organized crime: taking justice into your own hands when the legal route is ineffective or insufficient. As its name implies, 'Acts of Violence' is a visually violent movie, even if it's narratively insipid and doesn't contribute anything to the deep problem of international human trafficking. At least it will draw the attention of action movie and series fans thanks to its cast, which includes Bruce Willis ('Die Hard'), Cole Hauser ('A Good Day to Die Hard'), Shawn Ashmore ('X-Men'), Sophia Bush ('Chicago P.D.') and Ashton Holmes ('Nikita').
