Director and screenwriter Judd Apatow ("The 40-Year-Old Virgin") brought another great comedy with "Knocked Up". The movie may be to make you laugh, but it does not leave reflection aside when bringing the story of two people - completely different - who end up having to deal with an unexpected pregnancy. Alison (Katherine Heigl) and Ben (Seth Rogen) were not a couple, but end up having to tolerate each other when she gets pregnant after a casual encounter between them. Seth Rogen is great in his role and will get you good laughs. He gives life to an adult who seems still stuck in a childhood life and shows his growth throughout the movie. This was the second feature film that Apatow directed, and follows a similar pattern to that of "The 40-Year-Old Virgin", which was the director's debut on the big screen. The acid humor is very present, as well as some jokes that make more sense to the average American viewer.

He's also accompanied by Seth Rogen and Leslie Mann, who also do a great job in their dramatic roles without losing the humor.

The most content-filled and square movie from director Judd Apatow (Virgin at 40) The Art of Being Adult is a mix of biographical drama and fiction. The basis of this story is the personal journey of Pete Davidson (Bodies Bodies Bodies), the protagonist and screenwriter of the movie. However, as Davidson does not have a strong enough name to sell a biographical film, Apatow ends up adding layers of fiction, even in the name of the main character, which is called Scott Carlin. Despite this ambiguity about the tone and the very course of the movie, The Art of Being Adult offers some inspired moments and knows how to combine well drama and comedy, when talking about the journey of this man in the shadow of the "American dream". A touching and enjoyable movie with good performances.

But it is filmmaker Judd Apatow ('The Art of Being Adult') who found one of the most original looks in 'The Bubble'. Exclusive to Netflix, the film dives into the story of producing a movie that is isolated in a "bubble" during the pandemic to finish shooting a movie. With all the possible absurdities of this situation, 'The Bubble' brings funny situations, but without forgetting to show the weight that the pandemic and confinement have caused in our lives (and in the lives of the characters).
