Why watch this film?

This story is fiction, but it echoes the reality of many girls and their families, who are split between the traditional and religious customs of their home country and life in Western European countries with entirely different values. Topped off with a fantastic performance by Lina El Arabi, the protagonist of this co-production between Pakistan and Europe – which has been featured in festivals like Toronto and Rotterdam.
