Why watch this film?

A very simple message: how a small act of kindness can change the life of an entire community. Based on the best-selling novel of the same name written by Ron Hall, this is a heartwarming story that revolves around a decaying marriage whose fate turns around after the appearance of a grumpy homeless man who shows up at the community soup kitchen where she works. The feature fails to delve into topics such as racism and discrimination but still moves the audience. The production enjoys the participation of recognized professionals such as the Oscar-nominated producer for 'The Revenant', the same cinematographer of 'Wonder' and an impressive cast of actors: Oscar nominees Greg Kinnear ('As Good As It Gets'), Djimon Hounsou ('Blood Diamond') and Oscar winners Jon Voight ('Coming Home') and Renée Zellweger ('Cold Mountain'). Definitely, a movie for lovers of a good drama.
