Why watch this film?

'Happy End' is directed by the Austrian filmmaker Michael Haneke, the same director of 'Love', and offers a good critique of upper middle class families. It's an ambitious, provocative production and reminds of the sarcastic chronicles of the French filmmaker and critic Claude Chabrol - although in a less intricate way. It was part of the official selection at Cannes Film Festival, competing for the Palme d'Or, although it is far from being one of the best films of the director.
