Why watch this film?
From the same director of the first movie in the John Wick series, this movie dives into one of the most interesting moments in modern history - the Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 - to tell a spy story full of sensuality, great action scenes, and twists. Highlights include the iconic soundtrack of the 1980s, the great reconstruction of Berlin at the time, and the electrifying (and sensual) presence of Charlize Theron on screen. There may be an excess of objectification of the female figure and a narrative that, at times, gets lost. However, the positives outweigh the negatives.

Deadpool 2
Continuing directly from "Deadpool," this sequel is even more interesting and entertaining than the first. Here, Deadpool must face the consequences of his actions as a masked vigilante and his desire for a normal family life. He ends up gathering an unlikely team, the X-Force, featuring special cameos from familiar faces. Another highlight is Josh Brolin as Cable, forming an interesting duo with Ryan Reynolds. Despite the excess of blood, action, and humor, this is a film about family! Directed by the competent David Leitch, who had also done great work in "Atomic Blonde" and "John Wick" (although without the proper credit in the latter).
Once Upon a Deadpool
"Deadpool 2" was a hit in the theaters. However, part of the audience- teens- couldn't watch the movie, which received an R rating (for 17 years and up). Therefore, Fox released a new version of the story, with cuts that guaranteed a PG-13 rating (or 14 years in Brazil) and brought new scenes and elements, parodying not only "Deadpool 2" itself, but fairy tales and Christmas-themed movies. Recommended for fans of the character or those who, due to parental restrictions, were unable to see the original cut.
Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw
The first spin-off of the popular action saga, 'Fast and Furious', has everything you could expect from the franchise and more: mind-blowing chases that challenge logic and gravity, spiced up with frantic fights and a testosterone-filled rivalry. 'Hobbs & Shaw' adds some science fiction and superhero elements to the mix, and the result is one that you will either love or hate for its over-the-top visual spectacle, which is still quite entertaining.
Bullet Train
In an era of sequels and remakes, 'Bullet Train' is a popcorn action movie from a major studio that proposes an original story, based on the book by Japanese writer Kōtarō Isaka. That doesn't mean this is an especially innovative feature film: the direction is by David Leitch, of 'Atomic' and 'Deadpool 2', and he brings here everything that has already become his trademark, including great fight scenes and that photography with shades of red and blue (signed by Jonathan Sela). In the cast, Brad Pitt can parade both his (great) action and comedy capabilities, while the trio of assassins Aaron Taylor-Johnson ('Kick-Ass'), Brian Tyree Henry ('Eternals') and Joey King ('The Kissing Booth') try to steal the scene. Unfortunately, all this is in the background with a confusing script, which gets lost in the twists and turns and doesn't know when to be serious or funny, which is a shame. Also missing is a more intelligent use of the claustrophobic environments of the bullet train of the title. Apart from that, it's another production with the Leitch seal that can deliver the action that genre fans love. Click here to read the full review.
