In the 80s, Richard Wershe Jr. became famous as White Boy Rick, an FBI informant from the age of 14. At 17, he was arrested with no less than 8 kilos of cocaine. With a sometimes skewed perspective, the director shows how White Boy Rick was merely a pawn in a much larger scheme of police corruption and political interests. A story worthy of a fiction movie. And speaking of which, it's worth noting that a fiction version is being made in Hollywood right now and is in post-production, starring none other than Matthew McConaughey ('The Dallas Buyers Club') in the cast.

At times, de Carbuccia and her works take more prominence than necessary, but she manages to present vital information.
