Mixing fantasy, horror and a pinch of real facts, this is one of those movies that makes you bite your nails out of so much nervousness. The movie tells the story of a mansion, which today is a tourist attraction in San Jose, California, right in the heart of Silicon Valley, and considered to be one of the creepiest places in the US. Despite not being completely faithful to the Winchester family's history, the movie is a treat for horror film lovers, starring Oscar winner Helen Mirren ("The Queen") and Jason Clarke ("Mudbound: The Color of War").

Plot summary
Inspired by true events, "Winchester" is set on an isolated stretch of land outside of San Francisco where there sits the world’s most haunted house. Seven stories tall with hundreds of rooms, the house has been under construction for decades. But heiress Sarah Winchester is not building for herself, for her niece, or for the troubled doctor she has summoned. She is building it as an asylum for hundreds of vengeful ghosts.
