Plot summary
"Duck Season" takes you into one particular Sunday morning in the lives of two fourteen-year old boys, Flama and Moko. With their neighbor Rita and pizza delivery boy Ulises, they create their own adventures to overcome their boredom. "Duck Season" explores the loneliness of childhood, the effects of divorce and the curious power of love and friendship.

With slowness and simplicity, the movie portrays very well the changes in body and mind that everyone faces in adolescence. All filled with very funny lines.

The franchise about people's love for cities was very successful with the films 'Paris, Je T'aime' and 'New York, I Love You', in which great names of cinema directed and starred in sensitive and brief stories about the routine in these great metropolises. Then, the adopted formula ended up falling into an unnecessary and generic exaggeration, in productions like 'Rio, Eu Te Amo'. Now, this format reaches Berlin, Germany. Names like Keira Knightley, Helen Mirren, Luke Wilson, Jim Sturgess and Mickey Rourke participate in quick but interconnected stories of people living love in the German city. It doesn't have the same delicacy of the production passed in France, nor the grace of the stories of New York. But still, it can be a good movie for those who want to travel in love stories in big cities and, mainly, to know or revisit tourist spots (or not) of Berlin.
