Why watch this film?
In 1973, an important group of women achieved a great victory in the US Supreme Court: the right to decide whether to have an abortion or not. It was the famous case of Roe v. Wade, which, based on the 14th Amendment of the Constitution, granted individuals the right to make decisions about themselves. However, in recent years, the debate has heated up again, taking on political contours – including changes in legislative and judicial powers. This documentary raises all the controversies and puts forward the main question: who should decide on abortion, the mother or the government? An extremely valid debate, both in the US and in Brazil.
