On Her Majesty's Secret Service

Trailer

Why watch this film?

This is the most underrated and forgotten James Bond movie, with the most underrated and forgotten actor to play him. Therefore, 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' has become a rare gem, beloved by some long-time fans of the character. Despite the weight of replacing Sean Connery and the (bad) criticism of the time, George Lazenby does a solid job and the script still treats us to a Bond who, for the first time, truly falls in love. The story is also the peak of the secret agent's struggle against Blofeld, leaving a mark that still echoes today in the franchise. John Barry is razor sharp in the soundtrack, with the use of more electronic instruments and an impeccable instrumental opening theme - plus having composed the beautiful love song 'We Have All The Time in The World', immortalized in Louis Armstrong's voice. Another highlight is the presence of Diana Rigg (Emma Peel from the British series 'The Avengers') as Countess Teresa di Vicenzo. This feature deserves to be seen more times.
