Why watch this film?
The first movie of the John Wick saga, which in Brazil was titled "De Volta ao Jogo", is a curiosity. Directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch (the latter uncredited) were recommended by Keanu Reeves himself, who had worked with the duo when they were stunt doubles and fight choreographers for "The Matrix". Despite its relatively modest budget for big action productions (around $20 million), the feature film became an independent success - largely due to its energetic action scenes and a well-rounded script.

A neo-noir action movie, the sequel to John Wick's saga - in Brazil, it was titled 'De Volta ao Jogo' - follows some of the American industry's genre clichés (which is not necessarily a fault), but has thrilling action sequences and great fight choreographies delivering an excellent entertainment.
John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum
One of the most spectacular action movie sagas is back - and that alone is enough reason to watch. 'John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum' brings back the fierce assassin played by Keanu Reeves, this time more dramatic and visceral. Director Chad Stahelski, as the franchise advances, bets on increasingly spectacular fight sequences and more memorable secondary characters. On the other hand, the feature film loses the surprise of the first chapter, while the "Boogeyman" played by Reeves is leaving aside pure and simple personal revenge and diving into an increasingly intricate fictional universe. Still, the overall result is quite attractive and will continue in a already confirmed chapter 4.
John Wick: Chapter 4
Throughout the whole John Wick saga, one thing can be said about its fourth movie: it's grander, more exaggerated and crazier compared to its predecessors, but also much longer. In John Wick: Chapter 4, the protagonist (Keanu Reeves) must face the entire world again with fewer allies by his side to defeat High Table of the assassin world and finally be free. Due to its length, it can be a bit tiring and some scenes stretch the little credibility of its action sequences to the limit. However, these last ones are truly spectacular and certainly rank among the best not only of the franchise, but of all contemporary action cinema. Read more in our full review.

Jean-Claude Van Damme makes his starring debut in the descriptively titled Bloodsport. An American soldier at large in Hong Kong, Van Damme becomes involved in the Kumite, a highly illegal kickboxing competition. Whoever survives the bout will be crowned Kumite champion of the world…a title that has plenty of challengers with homicide in their hearts. The finale offers a duel to the death between Van Damme and reigning Kumite king Bolo Yeung. The script is based on the real-life exploits of martial arts champ Frank Dux, who serves as the film's fight coordinator.

The Order
In The Order, Van Damme plays a man accused of murder who seeks a sacred scripture in Jerusalem before it falls into the wrong hands, jeopardizing his freedom. With shades of Dan Brown and a script by Jean Claude Van Damme himself, alongside Les Weldon (screenwriter of another action star film, Replicant), the movie is what every fan of the Belgian actor wants: brawling, with a fun plot, and never boring.
