Why watch this film?
After the success of 'Fast & Furious 5', director Justin Lin expanded the concept of mercenaries at high speeds even further in the sixth installment of the franchise - which, in addition to the presence of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson, also has the arrival of Luke Evans. The main plot takes place in Europe, once again with electrifying and fun action sequences (not just races) - and that defy any logic or the laws of physics. From here, the franchise turns into a kind of new generation James Bond, but starred by superheroes who take their powers from muscles and V8 engines.

Star Trek Beyond
Through the hands of director Justin Lin, famous for reviving the 'Fast & Furious' franchise, the movie bets heavily on action and adventure. The feature also was part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the original series, bringing elements from various moments of 'Star Trek', from references to the 'Enterprise' series to a beautiful tribute to Leonard Nimoy and the original cast. It may not be the best moment of Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Uhura and company's adventures, but it is good entertainment.
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
With the departure of Paul Walker and Vin Diesel's reduced role to a cameo, Universal had to reinvent 'The Fast and the Furious' in this third movie. They called Lucas Black to star in a feature film that, for many, is the "black sheep of the family," being the most criticized within the series. Still, 'The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift' brings good racing scenes and introduces director James Wan, who would become responsible for revitalizing the franchise in the next movie.
Fast & Furious 4
"Fast & Furious" is the point of restart for the franchise. After the huge commercial and public success of the first movie, but with the slips of the second and third, the fourth chapter of the series brings back stars Paul Walker, Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez, now in a story of revenge and with high-speed chases that almost border on the absurd. The cast still has the addition of Gal Gadot ("Wonder Woman").
Fast Five
With its fifth installment, the 'Fast & Furious' franchise took an important turn to attract a larger audience, shifting away from underground racing and going for international heists with plenty of action both in and out of the car - and by 'international', understand that a good part of the plot takes place here in Rio de Janeiro. The result of this mix is 'Fast Five: Rio Heist', one of the most successful movies of the series and which marks the debut of Dwayne Johnson in the franchise.
Fast & Furious 9
Set aside any disbelief before starting to watch 'Fast & Furious 9'. The movie, which brings the director Justin Lin back to the franchise, fully embraces goofiness and surpasses any limit set by previous chapters. The result is a delicious salad, which at this point hardly resembles the first 'Fast and Furious': there are elements of superhero adventures, espionage and a 1980s action movie veneer, with cliché dialogue and doses of humor. Connecting all this is a thin storyline, evoking once again the theme of family and with John Cena ('Bumblebee') as a special villain. In addition to him, we have the returns of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel and Sung Kang, who form the franchise's motorized Avengers. Together, they deliver breathtaking four-wheel action scenes - including a car in space. Why is there a car in space? Good question, nobody knows. But, as I said, just enjoy the ride and forget any physics law. If you embrace this spirit, you will certainly like it.

The Witch: Part 2. The Other One
The Witch: Part 2. The Other One - A fast-paced action, mystery and thriller film that follows a young woman with impressive telekinetic powers, desperately fighting for her life while unraveling the mysteries of her past, pursued by unscrupulous killers. With Blue Dragon Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress (Seo Eun-su) and Best New Actress (Cynthia), this film captures the protagonist's intense battle to find answers and justice, facing not only her persecutors, but also to his own inner demons.
Bloodsport
Jean-Claude Van Damme makes his starring debut in the descriptively titled Bloodsport. An American soldier at large in Hong Kong, Van Damme becomes involved in the Kumite, a highly illegal kickboxing competition. Whoever survives the bout will be crowned Kumite champion of the world…a title that has plenty of challengers with homicide in their hearts. The finale offers a duel to the death between Van Damme and reigning Kumite king Bolo Yeung. The script is based on the real-life exploits of martial arts champ Frank Dux, who serves as the film's fight coordinator.
War on Terror: KL Anarchy

The Order
In The Order, Van Damme plays a man accused of murder who seeks a sacred scripture in Jerusalem before it falls into the wrong hands, jeopardizing his freedom. With shades of Dan Brown and a script by Jean Claude Van Damme himself, alongside Les Weldon (screenwriter of another action star film, Replicant), the movie is what every fan of the Belgian actor wants: brawling, with a fun plot, and never boring.
