In "Bayoneta," Luis Gerardo Méndez (from "Club de Cuervos") reveals himself to be an actor with great capacity for interpretation, convincingly transforming into the boxer that gives name to the movie. In the story, Miguel “Bayoneta” Galíndez is a Mexican boxer who, after a mysterious event, abandons the sport and goes to live in Finland - the past, however, returns to torment him. "Bayoneta" also features other good performances from its cast, as well as beautiful photography. Unfortunately, the feature relies too much on a more contemplative pace, flirting with boredom, but the end result is a beautiful tale of redemption.
