Inspired by the evacuation of around 800 civilians during Yemen's Civil War in 2015, 'Sequestro no Mar Vermelho' is a hugely successful Chinese action movie in its country's cinemas. The reason is simple: it's a feature film with plenty of breathtaking set pieces, explosions, gunfire, and good special effects... On the other hand, the characters lack any sort of motivation or nuances in their personalities. Nonetheless, if you're looking for spectacular and well-executed action, this movie won't disappoint you.
