In recent years, Asian filmmakers have perfected the formula of – and proof of this is ‘Cities of Last Things’. Presented in reverse chronological order, the film leaves the viewer with the task of connecting details and events, involving us differently with the plot. Awarded in the Toronto Festival's Plataform selection, the work of Taiwanese director Ho Wi Ding is noteworthy, not to mention the incredible photography full of neon lights and shadows.
