Why watch this film?
The French makeup and special effects wizard, Olivier Afonso ('Raw'), presents an 80s-set horror comedy. The filmmaker makes full use of blood and fake blood, decapitations, and jokes that border on the ridiculous. Very similar to the seductive 'Planet Terror' and the explosive 'Tomorrowland'. Although 'Girls with Balls' can't escape the typical sexism of the genre, it makes up for it with its exuberant photography.

Plot summary
All girls volley ball team The Falcons end up stranded in the middle of nowhere after their mini-van breaks down. Little do they know they landed in degenerate hunters' territory and the hunt is on. Thus begins a very long night where they must run for their lives and test their team spirit. But the girls are more resourceful than it appears. In the heart of the forest, the tables are about to turn between hunter and hunted...

Love, Divided
From hate to love, there's only one step. Or, in this case, a very thin wall. Love, Divided (a remake of the French film Behind the Wall) is about a game designer (Fernando Guallar) who can only concentrate in absolute silence, which becomes a problem when a singer and pianist (Aitana) who is preparing for an important audition, moves into the adjacent apartment. It's a predictable romantic comedy, and the outcome can be seen from miles away. However, if you enjoy this kind of story, Patricia Font's remake is still charming.
