Why watch this film?
Nicolas Cage is a curious case in the movies. Sometimes, like in 'Mandy' or 'Adaptation', he is memorable. In others, he clearly chose the wrong movie to star in. Unfortunately, 'Between Worlds' falls into the second classification - even though it has countless moments of "what the hell is this" to enchant the most fanatical fans of the actor. The story itself deals with family losses, ghosts and suspense, but without much success in its proposal.

The characters' masks are much scarier, and it ceases to be a complete joke. It's still difficult to take the film entirely seriously, especially with this bizarre premise of Pooh and his friends seeking bloody revenge, but you can already feel more fear and, above all, immerse yourself in the wave of violence that the film promotes.
