Why watch this film?

It's another masterpiece from renowned filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson. 'Boogie Nights: Pleasure Games' delves into the Golden Age of pornography during one of its period of transformation, shedding taboos and presenting us with complex characters we can sympathize with, with a star-studded cast that includes the great Julianne Moore, Burt Reynolds (Oscar winner for this movie), Don Cheadle, John C. Reilly, William H. Macy and Mark Wahlberg in what is by far the best role of his career. True to his illustrious pornographer's trend, "P.T." Anderson delivers a quite long movie (just over two and a half hours), but it's so powerful you won't even suffer through it.
