Good Boys

Three 6th graders accidentally steal drugs and must outrun teenage girls to make it to a party.

Why watch this film?

Considered a small gem of comedy cinema in the 2019 and 2020 season, 'Good Boys' is the directorial debut of Gene Stupnitsky (writer of 'The Office'), and it treads a fine line between films like 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' and 'Superbad: Today Is The Day'. The movie heavily relies on humor for pre-teens, which can seem a bit repetitive if you're not in the "mood" for that stage of life anymore. However, the feature shines thanks to a positive final message and the undeniable charisma of its talented young leads: Jacob Tremblay ('Room'), Brady Noon ('Boardwalk Empire') and Keith L. Williams ('The Last Man on Earth').
