In the holiday season, Netflix becomes a production machine of Christmas comedies, and usually most of them don't go beyond background noise during typical family gatherings. 'Holiday Rush' is a pleasant exception to this rule, mostly due to its theme - about a single father of four children. Not to mention there's an interesting moral for current times. It stars Romany Malco ('Weeds') and Sonequa Martin-Green ('The Walking Dead', 'Star Trek: Discovery'), who have a fun chemistry on screen.
