Why watch this film?
It is the directorial debut of Etan Cohen (screenwriter of films such as 'Men in Black 3' and 'Tropic Thunder: A Movie War'). It has to be said, '30 Days to Go to Jail' has a problematic premise that starts from racial stereotypes, and although it seems to have the good intention of refuting them, it ends up being a tour of all of them. However, you will find it very entertaining if you enjoy the performances of Will Ferrell ('Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy') or Kevin Hart ('This is the End').

Etan Cohen (screenwriter of 'MIB: Men In Black 3') writes and directs a feature-length film that once again brings together the famous duo of Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly (from 'Step Brothers' and many other films). Unfortunately, the characters don't reach their full potential, due to a repetitive script and often forced jokes. If you're looking for a chance to reencounter the incredible chemistry between these two actors on screen, it's definitely worth a try.
