Why watch this film?
No matter if you're the groom, the bride or one of the guests: there are always thousands of expectations around weddings, including thousands of things that can go wrong. 'Love, Wedding, Repeat' is a remake of the French comedy 'Plan de Table', but takes this premise to the extreme, developing different alternate versions of the same day, and in all of them crazy and very funny situations occur. It is worth saying that the original title, 'Love Wedding. Repeat', reminds the famous slogan of another movie, 'Edge of Tomorrow' ("live, die, repeat"). The cast does not bring some familiar faces to the public, with Freida Pinto ('Who Wants to Be a Millionaire'), Olivia Munn ('X-Men: Apocalypse') and especially Sam Claflin ('Me Before You'), who surprises with his comic skills when playing the brother of the bride.

Plot summary

Italian filmmaker Nanni Moretti (winner of the Palme d'Or in 2001 for The Son's Room) returns with what has been called his 8½, for obvious reasons. A Brighter Tomorrow is the story of a filmmaker struggling to shoot a movie about the Hungarian Revolution, while trying to save his marriage to his producer wife. The film satirizes the current state of cinema, and perhaps indulges a bit too much in its nostalgia. It is far from the best that veteran Moretti has to offer, but if you've enjoyed his previous films, you will undoubtedly enjoy this one.
