Why watch this film?

Just like Terrence Malick's more recent works, such as 'The Tree of Life' and 'To the Wonder', 'Vision', the new feature film from Japanese director Naomi Kawase, should be appreciated and felt more than watched linearly like any other movie, as we are already used to. After all, although there is a thin narrative sustaining the story starring Juliette Binoche, the movie takes risks, dares and embarks on a contemplative and visual journey. Therefore, just like the mentioned Malick's features, it is necessary to be ready to absorb an experimental and abstract story, more focused on the feelings experienced and conveyed by the images of 'Vision'. If you want a square and linear plot, run away. Come back only when you want to experience something really different.
