Why watch this film?
Drawing from the source of 'A Night of Crime', the feature film 'The Last Days of American Crime' takes advantage of a mix of action and science fiction to tell the story of a group of robbers who decide to make one last big bank robbery. The reason for being the last? The government will activate a signal that prevents crimes from being committed. Although the duration of the film is an absolute exaggeration, with almost 2h30, 'The Last Days of American Crime' surprises by mixing a tense and claustrophobic atmosphere with the traditional plots and problems of robbery films. Director Olivier Megaton (from 'Taken 3' and 'Transporter 3') finally manages to produce a long-term franchise with its own airs, without being a continuation lost in time. And the protagonist Edgar Ramírez (from 'Wasp Network', also exclusive to Netflix) once again consolidates himself as one of the strongest and most interesting names in current action cinema.
