Trailer

Why watch this film?

"National feature film that goes beyond the Rio-São Paulo axis, 'A Letter to Ferdinand' is an emotional story set in Santa Catarina, in the city of Joinville. Filmed in just 13 days, the movie plays with time travel to tell the story of François Ferdinand, the French responsible for building some of the main tourist and functional points of the city of Santa Catarina. Mixing drama with comedy, the feature film by filmmaker Fábio Cabral rescues affective memories of the region while doing an important job of revitalizing History, serving as a starting point for those who want to know details of this important city of southern Brazil. To do this, it puts into perspective the journey of Frederico Bruestlein - Ferdinand's assistant - and his assistant Tonico, responsible for the comic relief of the feature film. Although it is a low budget production, which is perceptible in some scenes, the plot succeeds in its function, opening a margin to please those who want to know more about this great Brazilian story."
